AURO Technologies is a spin-off of the privately-owned Galaxy Studios Group. In 2010 Wilfried Van Baelen (MD Auro Technologies, CEO Galaxy Studios) brought “Immersive Sound” as an end-to-end solution for all audio markets with the AURO-3D format of which he presented the speaker layouts and the first demos at the AES Conventions in 2006. AURO’s efficiency combined with its immersive impact inspired the worldwide audio industry.

AURO-3D facilitates a greater degree of creativity with powerful technology to provide the industry with the necessary tools to bring richer forms of entertainment to the market. With the artistic integrity at the core of the AURO-3D DNA, it is the only Immersive Sound format to support High Resolution Audio (96KHz-24Bit) on physical media and to maintain the traditional mastering process. It allows to bring the same high-end studio quality to each consumer everywhere and in the way it was intended by the creators.
